Pretty Thing’s lead singer Phil May has died aged 75

We are shocked and saddened at the news that our friend Phil May has passed away from complications related to emergency hip surgery after a biking accident.

Phil gained fame in the 1960s as the lead singer of Pretty Things, of which he was a founding member. He remained a member throughout the band’s changing line-up over the years.

Our thoughts are with his son, Paris May, his daughter, Sorrel May, and his partner, Colin Graham.
