It first broadcast in 1974 and has become a pan-European television institution. It has its own fan club and online forum, and in almost four decades, it has become a trademark of quality viewing and listening. PERFORMANCE DATE: Audimax, Hamburg, Germany, 15th March, 1978 A 14-song set from the New Wave band formed by ex-Ducks Deluxe leader Sean Tyla after his pub-rock pioneers split. The show features Sean Tyla - Lead vocals/Guitar, Bruce Irvine - Lead guitar, Michael Desmarais - Drums/ b.vocals and Brian ‘Kid’ Turrington - Bass/b.vocals. Highlights include the Stiff Records single ‘Styrofoam’ and Ducks Deluxe classic ‘Fireball’, together with new material recorded for Beserkley Records – notably from their current album at the time, ’Moonproof’. Sean Tyla is still active with a Tyla Gang line-up that includes Bruce Irvine on lead guitar and ex-Winkie Mike Desmarais on drums. Tyla Gang will tour mainland Europe in October/November 2014. They were extremely popular in both France and Germany throughout the Seventies, and they have not played in those territories for over 35 years, so this will be a much awaited tour.
